ABOUT MALMÖ

Malmö is the best place for discovering the Swedish lifestyle in a very convenient, laid-back way. Not just its size (around 340 000 inhabitants), but also its location makes it a very attractive destination. Thanks to the famous Öresund Bridge, we can be in Copenhagen in 30 min, and discover the Danish capital as well. But before doing it, Malmö is worth to be explored for sure. Fascinating sights, interesting buildings, vibrant food scenes, no rush, and an eco-friendly city will wait for us here. Did you know that Swedes are big coffee consumers? Sweden is in the top three of the world’s biggest coffee consumers.

WHAT I LOVE THE MOST

I am totally in love with the atmosphere of Malmö. Everything is organized and clean, the Swedish minimalism, a charming seaside, biking, running, and smiling people everywhere, big parks, and great cafés. I begin the day with my seaside morning coffee and my fav, tasty kardemummabulle (cardamom bun) while enjoying the panorama of the Öresund Bridge. Then I walk around in the Gamla Staden (Old Town) and check-out these squares: Stortorget and Lilla Torg. I rent a bike in the afternoon, and bike around the centrally located parks or stop to see the oldest Renessaince-styled castle in Scandinavia, the Malmöhus. My absolute favorite spot in town is the Stadsbibliotek (City Library).
