ABOUT BUDAPEST
Budapest has flourished enormously in recent years and became one of Europe’s most impressive cities. No wonder so many travelers choose it as their next destination. Although many things are well-organized in the Hungarian capital, a local insight will be useful as well. There is so much to discover beyond the main sights and ruin bars. After living for more than 13 years in this city, I know every part of it and have the ability to be your local friend with an outsider/visitor approach.
WHAT I LOVE THE MOST
I adore beginning the day with a nice breakfast at my favorite bakery called Artizan. I take a short walk in the city center and admire the beautiful building of Parliament, every time. Front of the Parliament I hop on the Tram nr. 2, which takes me along the Danube. This line is considered Europe’s Most Scenic Tram Journey. I hop off at Liberty Bridge and walk to the Buda side of the city, arriving at one of my favorite streets, Bartok Bela utca. So many amazing things and not even noon.
