Hungary is so much more than Budapest and the wine known abroad as Tokaji. What else would be the best location to prove it as the region of Zemplen, where this wine comes from. As a countryside supporter, I am happy to create you a Personal Guidebook of this region full of wine tastings and tours, trying out the local cuisine, visiting castles and interesting villages, and many more activities.

WHAT I LOVE THE MOST

My perfect Zemplen day looks like this: a day spent in village Mád. Going on a vineyard tour and enjoying the wine picnic + the amazing panorama from the hills. Wandering through other villages, like Erdőbénye and picking-up some mushrooms in the forests around. Finishing the day at Anyukám Mondta (My Mother Said) restaurant with a tasty dinner. This is the highlight of the day: tasty food, childhood flavors, and excellent service. Feels just like home ?
